Beauty Events. A fascination attraction where you step into a world of glamour to see, hear and experience all the latest products the skincare and makeup chemists have invented for us to improve our face, body and hair, by lifting, smoothing, firming and… well, you get the idea. It’s more or less like an unveiling of the latest Apple iPhone or the new cars at the State Fair in the fall and they do draw a crowd. But what makes it better than all the unveilings rolled into one are SAMPLES! Oh! how I love those samples!
I’m still sorting through my samples beauty bag, but I want to share one of my favorites, so far. It’s by Dior and it’s an amazing product to add to your foundation application. DIORSKIN Airflash CC Primer. Unlike the primers we have discussed in previous blogs here, this one is described as “a revolutionary spray technology that evenly delivers a lightweight mist with Photo-Smart Pigments™ to color correct imperfections, erase shadows, even out skintone, and brighten dull complexions’. Photo smart pigments? I feel like I am in the middle of a Photoshop 101 class.
But! Here’s how that ‘flash’ works for you with two different applications. It can be applied to your clean skin after serums and creams or as I was shown, it can be added to your makeup brush for application WITH your DIORSKIN Airflash Foundation. Just shake the can and spray it onto a face brush and then spread onto your face. Two quick squirts. I was told this formula is enhanced with an energizing mix of minerals to revive and refresh the complexion, as well as hyaluronic acid to plump and smooth the skin. Dior’s AIRFLASH product line gives your skin a soft, smooth, air brushed look and it will last all day. When you apply it under your foundation, be sure and let all your serums and creams dry thoroughly so you will get the smooth, silky airbrushed look you want. It’s lightweight, fast-absorbing, helps makeup last longer and provides a dewy finish – in a flash!
