It’s A Southern Thing

I grew up in the South with a grandmother who lived with our family.  She blessed my heart and the heart of everyone else on a daily basis. And, at times, she would comment “bet she makes good biscuits” which really meant they were not easy on the eyes, but never would a southern lady say those words.  But there’s one comment that always made me giggle as a child – “Why look at her skin! It appears to be as soft as a baby’s butt”.  And, yes, I would giggle because as a child the word ‘butt’ was just one of those words not used in polite conversation, especially that of a child.  Now, I have to say the same thought crossed my mind a few weeks ago following my use of Murad’s Skin Smoothing Polish. Gosh! My face felt as soft as… well, you get the idea.

Product labeling for Murad states their Skin Smoothing Polish not only cleans our face, but it exfoliates it as well, providing a smoother, softer skin.  This polish contains micro-polishing beads that deeply exfoliate to help relieve clogged pores and blackheads, too. Witch Hazel and Cinnamon Extract will visibly tighten the pores and balance oil production. Starflower Extract (which I have learned is commonly known as Borage oil, which is extracted from the seed of the blue, star shaped borage flower) is gaining much attention by alternative health practitioners and mainstream medicine alike. This leaves your skin soft and supple. It is recommended that Skin Smoothing Polish be used only 2 to 3 times a week as a supplemental cleanser. Just massage it evenly over your face and rinse. I spoke with one beauty advisor who mentioned that if I have readers that are prone to adult acne this is the product to end their search.

Over the last month, I have used used this polish on my neck, my décolleté and the top of my hands, as well.  I just love the smell and the effects on my skin… in fact – why I do declare!  My skin IS as soft as a baby’s butt!
